Three mountains echo in its green heart: Moslavačka gora, Papuk and Bilogora, which has the word heartbeat (bȉlo) in its root as a reminder of the continuous beat of life. The life that has existed in these parts since the earliest times – only archaeological remains can tell the story of the people and events that marked its past and created the foundations of the present.

Whichever side your road takes you to this county, you will be greeted by its open and hospitable people from Bilogora and Moslavina, as well as its preserved nature. There are five towns here: Bjelovar, Daruvar, Čazma, Garešnica and Grubišno Polje, and eighteen municipalities that all together, yet each on its own, invite you to explore and discover this part of Croatia. If you start exploring the cities, Bjelovar will probably delight you with its regular street layout, Daruvar with its hot baths dating back to Roman times, Garešnica with its surrounding hunting grounds, Čazma with its rich past, and Grubišno Polje with the peace that life in a small town offers. And between the cities there are municipal centers and villages located on hills with church towers, lit by the sun, reaching for the blue sky.

Here you will be greeted by centuries-old forests, spacious and fruitful fields, blossoming meadows with streams, rivulets and lowland rivers. There are fish-rich ponds and lakes as well as hunting grounds where the most diverse small and large game live. If you go exploring on foot, by bicycle, perhaps on horseback or by car, every path, meadow and grove hides many secrets and countless untold stories. Every choice is a good one, because numerous picnic spots, wine roads and small family farms offer you the opportunity to rest and enjoy the nature that surrounds you.
