
The Daruvar Municipal Museum is located in one of the most representative buildings in Daruvar and a 1st Category Cultural Monument of the Republic of Croatia, the Janković Castle built in the 18th century. In front of the main entrance is one of the symbols of the city of Daruvar, the ginkgo biloba tree, which is one of the oldest specimens of its kind in Europe. The exhibits of the Daruvar Municipal Museum include the Memorial Room of Jewish Culture and Tradition, the Homeland War in Daruvar and the Daruvar in the Second World War permanent exhibitions, the Eva Fischer gallery and a small gallery. During a visit to the museum, it is possible to view lithographs and engravings by the world-famous artist and native Daruvar resident Eva Fischer. In addition to the museum exhibits, it is also possible to view the interior of the castle.
