VINODAR – DARUVAR

This event, which is traditionally held every year in Daruvar, attracts lovers of wine, culture and entertainment from all over Croatia and beyond. Daruvar, known for its excellent wines and rich history of viticulture, celebrates the long-standing tradition of growing vines, as well as the hospitality of its inhabitants, through Vinodar. This nine-day festival, which lasts from 1 to 9 June, offers a variety of cultural, entertainment and food and wine events.

Through Vinodar, visitors get the opportunity to participate in numerous events such as the popular Wine & Walk among vineyards, where they can taste the best local wines and enjoy the natural beauty of the Daruvar region. In addition, wine evenings with a rich gastronomic offer provide a unique experience for all the senses. The wine fair of traditional products, which is held in the picturesque Julijev park, gathers numerous exhibitors who present their local delicacies, souvenirs and handicrafts, and the cultural and artistic program adds a special touch to the entire event.

Those who seek active vacation can try their hand at the Vino tour bike ride, which leads through the hilly Daruvar region, with a visit to family farms, where you can taste local specialties. The highlight of the entertainment is the outdoor concerts of local music stars, which attract a large number of visitors every year.
