Hospitality, cordiality and tolerance have always been our attributes, which is best witnessed by numerous guests and visitors. There is nothing more beautiful than when our squares are filled with song, food and visitors of all generations.

We love when the intoxicating aromas of local flavors waft from our cauldrons, when our local cheeses are sliced and delicious charcuteries and local cake platters are prepared. When wine and beer flow in abundance, our streets and squares sing in unison to honor the joy of life that has been booming for centuries in our region.

Would you like to have fun with Maria Theresa and her subjects or take the children to the magic of light at the Salaj estate? Maybe push the limits of endurance at the Super Marathon Zagreb – Čazma or try a trail? Wine lovers and connoisseurs will meet again at the Vinodar and toast to a good harvest. On the other hand, flower enthusiasts and fans of local products will, as every year, greet our guests from Dalmatia again at Gastro-Flora. Astronomers, scientists and deep space enthusiasts will be happy to exchange the latest news at the popular 10 Days of Astronomy event, whereas conscious environmentalists will find their place under the sun at the Eco-Fair in Čazma. This is only one small part of our events during the year. We also have DokuArt, Gariglazbijada, Rockabilly Festival in Daruvar, International Autumn Bjelovar Fair, Lovrak Cultural Days, and so on. Since survival has always been largely linked to the fruits of the earth, and the laborious and hard-working people of this region have been trying to get the most out of what the land can offer, we also celebrate the Potato Days, Days of the Plums and Schnapps, we exhibit cheeses at the Economic Fair – Cheese Fair. You can choose what you like best from the rich palette and visit some of our events. A full bag of local products and a happy stomach is a guarantee that you will come back again.
