A walk with a purpose
So as not to stick only to the academic aspect of it all, as part of the project itself, the Poilovlje Educational Trail was created, which stretches from Garešnica to Veliko Vukovje. This beautifully landscaped path is 12 kilometers long and can be crossed by bicycle or on foot. Here you will find educational panels that provide interesting information about the rich flora and fauna of this region. You have the opportunity to learn a lot about the local flora and fauna while enjoying the sightseeing. This praiseworthy project is part of the Green Gardens of Poilovlje initiative, which was realized in Kaniška Iva in the immediate vicinity of the Fishing Lodge of the Sport Angling Association SOM. Visitors can use numerous benches, gazebos, a large children’s playground as well as two viewpoints with a beautiful vista. In addition, there is a space for sports activities, a barbecue in nature and other various forms of recreation. Ideal for parents with children, recreationists, walkers and nature lovers.
