The city of Daruvar has been known since Roman times and to this day for its geothermal water sources in the city center, and the first springs in the city center were tapped during the time of Antun Janković in the 18th century. The settlements of the city of Daruvar, Vrbovac and Markovac are abundant in sources of clean drinking water, spring water located in the centers of the settlements. The municipality of Sirač has also long been known for its sources of drinking water, both in the municipality and in the surrounding settlements. Based on all of the above and by jointly considering the wealth of water sources in the Daruvar - Papuk destination area, and the untouched nature in the settlements of Vrbovac and Markovac, it was decided to revitalize this area in the best possible natural way by forming the cycling route "SPRING ROUTE" - Connecting the thermal water sources in Daruvar and the drinking water sources in Sirač through the arrangement of cyclotourism infrastructure .
The cycling route is 32 kilometers long, the track is of medium difficulty, and the surface of the track is a combination of asphalt and gravel. There are four cycling rest areas on the track that connect the area. "SPRING ROUTE" combines riding through untouched nature and the urban environment of the destination .
